Wine Advocate: Tasted at the Union de Grand Cru in London. The La Pointe 2010 has a well-defined, very classic Pomerol bouquet with fine delineation and poise: blackberry, black truffle, smoke and a slight ferrous note. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, ripe and quite bold tannins that lend this Pomerol real backbone. It builds in the mouth to a lovely black truffle and graphite-tinged finish that sits comfortable between Pomerol and Pauillac in style. This is an excellent wine from "L'Equipe Monnoret".
