It all started when the door of the family wine cellar was left unlocked… The passion of fine wines then expedited when our founder started studying in a boarding school in the UK. Being only an hour flight away from Bordeaux, it was a great opportunity to visit chateaux, attend tastings, dinners and en-primeur events. After countless vineyard visits and workshops, our founder has developed some great friendships with wine lovers from around the world. She has also established many strong and long-term partnerships with chateaux and wine merchants globally. The passion of wine never dropped while she was working in investment banking. Despite it was not an easy decision to leave an exciting career, the decision to study in Paris was made. Upon graduation from MBA in International Luxury Brand Management in ESSEC, she took on a global business strategist role for wine, spirits, tobacco, food and gifts. The experience, passion and relationships built throughout the years allow WINE THIEF to have unique access to ex-chateau grand cru classe, special editions, fine and rare wines.

We also fly to local markets regularly to enhance our offering.

Our professional WSET certified team is available to provide you with unbiased advice to find the wines that best suit your needs, the wine that suits your palate. Or they might be willing to share their favorite wine with you! (one bottle drunk, one bottle less for that vintage...)

You have gone through the fun and exciting part in picking your perfect wine! Here comes the less interesting yet equally important step - professional storage! To protect the world’s finest offerings, our wines are stored under a 24/7 temperature and humidity controlled warehouse. Dimmable lighting are set, alarms linked to security and security guards are stationed. Storage service is currently not open to public but we offer 6 months free storage in this leading wine storage for all our customers/ Partners in Wine!
