Wine Advocate: Tasted as a wine future, the Premier Grand Cru Classe of Saint-Emilion Chateau Figeac 2019 confirmed the very high quality of this superb vintage ending in -9. The wine displays a deep amaranth red colour, with shimmering purple reflections. The intensely aromatic and very pure bouquet expresses the typicity of each grape variety. Cabernet punctuates the bouquet with notes of red and black fruit, along with delicate floral fragrances. On the palate, the attack reveals the dense and delicious texture of the Chateau Figeac 2019. The palate is harmonious, evolving a mouth-coating texture, testifying to the fine quality of the Merlot. This wine offers an incredibly persistent finish with great finesse, and the minerality of the Cabernet brings a great freshness to this deliciously fruity wine.
